1. What the App collects and why
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Gamer tag, game, score, and level/wave | Only when you post a score (you can turn this off in Settings) | To show the score on the public Arcade 51 leaderboards at arcade51az.com |
| IP address and basic request details (date, time, app/browser type) | When the App contacts arcade51az.com to post or load scores | Standard server logs for security, abuse prevention, and fixing errors |
| Purchase status (which games you unlocked) | When you buy or restore | Kept on your device and by Apple/Google to unlock games. We do not receive your payment details. |
Settings, unlocks, your gamer tag, and your best scores are also stored on your device so the App works offline.
2. What we do not collect
We do not ask for or collect your real name, email address, phone number, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, advertising ID, or device identifiers. The App has no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across other apps or websites. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
3. Payments
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. They tell the App which games you have unlocked. We never see your card number, billing name, or account email.
4. Public leaderboards
Gamer tags and scores you post are public. Use a gamer tag, never your real name. The arcade51az.com website may show leaderboard entries alongside scores posted on the website. You can ask us to remove your entries (see Section 7).
5. Children
The App is a general-audience arcade game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child posted a score that reveals personal information, contact us and we will remove it. Younger players should play with a parent's permission. Parents can turn off score posting in Settings and use Apple's or Google's parental controls to approve purchases.
6. How long we keep data and how it is protected
Leaderboard entries stay on the leaderboards until they are reset or removed. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our web host in the United States.
7. Your choices and rights
- Turn off score posting at any time: Settings → Post scores to the online leaderboards.
- Delete the data on your device by deleting the App (restore your unlocks later with Restore purchases).
- Ask us to delete leaderboard entries posted under your gamer tag, or ask what we hold, by emailing 2bros@arcade51az.com with the gamer tag and the games. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. We will respond as the law requires.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the App.
